In this video, Hagerty Classics shows us one of the coolest time-lapse videos ever. In under 5 minutes, Hagerty rebuilds the iconic Ford Cruise-O-Matic transmission out of a 1962 Thunderbird. Also called Ford-O-Matic or Merc-O-Matic, Ford developed this bulletproof transmission in 1952 and was eventually phased out by the wildly popular C4 transmission. Check out the rebuild below:
