[Video] First 5-Second Pass in Drag Week History

Tom Bailey recorded a blistering 5.998 on the final day of Drag Week. When they say ‘save the best for last’ Tom Bailey and his street-legal Pro-Mod Camaro took that to heart. After averaging 6 second passes all week, Bailey finally got it done after a 750 mile trip from Virginia to New Jersey and back. Bailey’s street legal Pro-Mod comes in a little hefty at 2,800 lbs and even retains power windows and cup-holders!

under the hood of this behemoth sits a Steve Morris powered “SMX” 526 cubic inch twin turbo v8 that puts out a little over 3,500 horses. Morris has been providing Bailey’s motors for drag week for a while and even rode shot gun to monitor the cars performance.

Congratulations to Tom Bailey and his team!
