1967 Mercury Cougar Dan Gurney Special

If you’re curious what modifications this special edition included, The Dan Gurney Special Package consisted of a sticker on the passenger rear window, chrome engine dress-up kit and turbine wheel covers. Though it doesn’t seem particularly wild for a package named after a Formula 1 driver, the standard car was quite sporty to begin with.

Features on this car include a 289ci V8 engine upgraded with a 4-barrel carburetor, chrome valve covers, 3-speed manual transmission with floor shift, power steering, aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette radio, Jamaican Yellow paint, black bucket seat interior, recently installed new headliner, Cooper raised white-letter radials on steel wheels and stock factory hubcaps (in trunk).
