If you’re in the market for a proven bracket racer with serious hardware and a winning track record, this 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle/Malibu out of Littleton, Colorado, deserves a long look. Built right and maintained with care, this is a no-nonsense car that’s ready to race now.
Under the fiberglass front clip sits a stout 388 cubic-inch small block Chevy, outfitted with a steel crank, 6-inch H-beam rods, forged pistons, a Comp solid roller cam, Brodix Track 1 heads, and an Edelbrock Super Victor intake. It’s fired by an MSD ignition system with crank trigger and fed by an APD carb. Supporting systems include a vacuum pump and Hooker headers.
Backing the power is an ATI-built Powerglide transmission with an 8-inch ATI converter. A Moser 9-inch rear end handles the torque, while the chassis rides on a full aftermarket suspension: Global West components up front, Dick Miller Racing parts in the rear, and Strange shocks all around. Wilwood disc brakes front and rear provide reliable stopping power.
The interior is all business, featuring Kirkey race seats, a 12-point chromoly cage, and a Racepak data system. Rolling on Weld wheels with 30x10.5 Hoosier rear slicks, this Chevelle weighs in at just 2,900 lbs and runs 10.70s at 123 mph in Denver’s high elevation. At sea level, expect low 10s with ease.
Mini-tubbed, race-prepped, and consistent, this car is ideal for Super Street, Super Pro, or bottom bulb bracket racing. It's a clean, reliable, and well-sorted machine with a strong reputation—owned by the seller since 1997 and sold with title in hand.
The seller is also open to delivery for a reasonable price.
