The Rebelle Rally is at it again, this time with 54 teams of the toughest competitors vying for victory in the longest competitive off-road rally in the United States.

The all-woman event, known for it’s navigation-based format, will kick off this year on October 6, 2022 with Tech in Incline Village and Lake Tahoe and will cover off-road terrain in Nevada and Northern California over a period of ten days.   A new pre-tech event on October 5 gave teams a little breathing room before tech and a welcome by Founder and Rally Director Emily Miller. Today will see competitors going through Rally school, followed by The Prologue, an unscored preview of what’s to come.

This year, nearly half the competitors are returning participants, representing a span in ages from 23 to 74, and the Rookie of the Year Class competitors will face steep competition with so many new faces. The classes are broken into two main categories: 4 x 4 and X-Cross, with an Electrified Designation in both.  EVs participating this year include a returning Rivian R1T, two Rivian R1S, two Toyota Tundra hybrids three PHEV Jeep Wrangler 4xe vehicles.

Last years big winners, the Bronco Sport and Jeep 4Xe, have stiff competition this year, including first entries by an Isuzu and BMW (X5).
