NASCAR Launches Official Fan Thank You as Part of 75th Celebration

NASCAR is launching a new national campaign called “Thank You, Fans” in collaboration with its four Premier Partners – Busch Light, Coca-Cola, GEICO, and Xfinity. The campaign aims to celebrate the millions of dedicated followers who have supported America’s No. 1 motorsport over the past 75 years and will continue to do so in the future.

The centerpiece of the campaign is a 30-second television spot that premiered during the first-ever NASCAR Chicago Street Race. This marks the first time that all four Premier Partners have joined forces with the sanctioning body for an integrated marketing campaign. Over the next five weeks, the “Thank You, Fans” campaign will be showcased through various traditional, social, and experiential marketing channels. These include fan-centric content features, giveaways, and surprise-and-delight moments at the track.

As part of the campaign, NASCAR is hosting a national sweepstakes where fans can share their stories of becoming NASCAR fans. Participants will have a chance to win an all-expenses-paid premium experience at NASCAR’s Championship Weekend at Phoenix Raceway.

Michelle Byron, NASCAR’s senior vice president of partnership marketing, emphasized the importance of NASCAR fans and expressed gratitude for their passion and loyalty. The collaboration with partners like Busch Light, Coca-Cola, GEICO, and Xfinity aims to recognize fans, both new and old, for their energy and dedication to NASCAR.

The sweepstakes grand prize package, known as the “diamond experience” in honor of NASCAR’s 75th anniversary, will provide one lucky fan and a guest with a race weekend of a lifetime. The package includes behind-the-scenes access and premium hospitality with unique elements from each Premier Partner. Fans can find more information and enter the sweepstakes at www.nascar.com/thankyoufans.

During the campaign’s opening weekend on July 8 and 9, NASCAR Fan Rewards, the sanctioning body’s loyalty program, will award double points to fans who check-in via the NASCAR.com leaderboard while watching NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, or CRAFTSMAN Truck Series races.

Throughout the campaign, original social and digital content produced by NASCAR Studios will be featured, including a weekly video series that highlights the diverse fanbase at racetracks. The content plan also includes messages of gratitude from fans’ favorite drivers.

Additionally, surprise-and-delight moments will take place for fans at individual tracks during the campaign. The “Thank You, Fans” content and campaign elements will come to life in the NASCAR Experience midway activation at Richmond Raceway and Michigan International Speedway.

This weekend, the NASCAR season continues at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Fans can tune in to the NASCAR Cup Series Quaker State 400 available at Walmart on Sunday, July 9, at 7:00 p.m. ET on USA, PRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Tickets are available for purchase at www.nascar.com/tickets.
