The all-new Ford Mustang is here, and it looks sharp. The seventh generation Mustang may be the best-designed Mustang to date, making the intro to retro 5th generation Mustang look like an absolute brick.

“Investing in another generation of Mustang is a big statement at a time when many of our competitors are exiting the business of internal combustion vehicles,” said Jim Farley, CEO of Ford Motor Company. “Ford, however, is turbocharging its ICE growth plan, adding connected technology, opinionated derivatives, and hybrid options to our most profitable and popular cars – all in the Ford Blue family – on top of investing $50 billion in electric vehicles through 2026.”

The options and aftermarket for this generation will be expansive as ever, and whether you're opting for an old school v8 or new school turbocharged 4 cylinders the power will be on full display.

The new Mustang will have two new engines – a larger 3-liter EcoBoost and the Mustang GT’s most powerful 5.0-liter Coyote V8 ever. The V8 version will also have a really cool new feature that we didn't know we needed until now, a Remote Rev feature that provides the ability to rev the car’s engine remotely using the key fob. Perfect for content creators that want to test before and after exhaust applications. Another feature that we're not so sure about is the available new Electronic Drift Brake that Ford says "can quickly turn a novice into a drifting pro, like Vaughn Gittin Jr." We don't know about all that but perhaps this is a response to all the Mustang leaving a car meet memes.

For the interior, we absolutely love the new Immersive digital cockpit inspired by fighter jets which features two large customizable digital displays while Ford Power-Up software updates create an upgradable ownership experience. This is a great touch, especially with Ford's always impressive software.

Overall we think Ford knocked it out of the park and can't wait to see these at the track. What do you think of the new Pony Car on the block?
