Get ready for the ultimate thrill at the brand-new Flying H Drag Strip in Odessa, Missouri, as the Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series, in collaboration with Flying H Drag Strip, proudly presents the groundbreaking Fall Smackdown from September 19th to 21st, 2024.

Be part of history in the making as we unveil the Main Event with an unprecedented $150,000 grand prize for the winner and $25,000 for the runner-up, generously sponsored by M&M Transmission and Proline Racing Engines. The total Pro Mod Payout has reached an astounding $253,000.

To express our gratitude to the Pro Mod racing community, MWDRS is covering entry fees for racers who attend four of the first six events of the 2024 season. Founder Keith Haney emphasizes, “Being able to help out with entries for PM is a huge deal for them to put that money back into their programs.”

For those who haven’t met the event requirements, pre-registration is available at $2500, with only 45 entries allowed, excluding racers who have already participated in four of the six events. The Stroud Safety Pro Mod Presented by M&M Transmission and Pro Line Racing will feature a 32-car field.

The Undercard Event (Slammers) Class, sponsored by Zimmerman Properties, offers a platform for non-qualified cars and first-round losers from the main event. No entry fee is required, and the winner takes home $25,000, while the runner-up receives $10,000.

Flying H Drag Strip President Scott Higgs affirms, “The area is desperate for racing, and we want to bring them the best.” Pro Mod racer Blake Housley, serving as Vice President, adds a wealth of knowledge to the event.

Friday evening features a Racer Appreciation Party, courtesy of Strange Engineering, offering live music, food, and fun for all racers and crews.
