The NHRA announced today the remainder of the 2020 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season. In collaboration with all stakeholders, NHRA plans to hold six national events to complete the 2020 season.

Every NHRA drag racer loves to compete at Lucas Oil Raceway (LOR). Site of Labor Day’s DENSO Spark Plugs U.S. Nationals, LOR has, this year, become the epicenter of drag racing, as the novel coronavirus, COVID-19 has made it difficult to travel throughout the country for competition.
It is a sad day in drag racing history today as fans, drivers and everyone else involved in the sport are mourning one of the greatest innovators the sport has ever known.
