Our friends over at P1 Groupe are celebrating their 15th-anniversary of providing services to the motorsports industry this month, and have announced a brand-new online auto auction, www.P1AutoAuction.com launching on November 23rd, 2021. This is the second time we sat down with Eric Burch of P1 for a 5 Questions, If you haven’t already please check out the first 5 Questions we did as a little background of who the P1 Groupe are.

1. How does this auction opportunity differ from other auctions? What types of vehicles are the focus? What is the selling point?
This is for street cars mostly, although some racecars will find their way there, that’s not the focus. Selling point is that it’s always better to sell on your own then to lose $$ by trading in!
2. How do people either put vehicles up for auction (if that’s a thing) or bid/participate?
They will create accounts and upload car images/specs/details if they want to sell. For buyers, yes, they’ll create a user account to be able to communicate in the community/on each lot and make bids.
3. What facilitated this venture?
We felt this was a natural progression from selling racecars to go the road car route. We found more and more clients wanting us to do more than just sell racecars, and we found this to be the best model to facilitate the need.
4. How does this support the main focus of P1?
There are a lot of our racing clients that have large car collections, both road cars and racecars. This allows us to create a larger audience by reaching to car enthusiast/buyer/collector segment
5. When does the auction launch and will it happen continuously, periodically, what?
This will be a continuous auction that will have lots closing daily M-F year round! The launch is tomorrow, November 23rd, 2021. This month P1 Groupe celebrates our 15th anniversary so what better time to expand into new markets!!
