If you are a MOPAR fan than you are familiar with their love for the snorkel hood. Dodge is again reaching back to its 100-plus-year lineage introducing a new dual-snorkel hood on Hellcat models. Whether it’s a 70’s Duster, 2012 Challenger, or the brand new Hellcat, these types of hoods have always been part of Dodge’s rich history. This new hood is based on the snorkels from the 60’s and 70’s but with a modern touch. The best part about this hood is that it is functional, providing direct air injection to the supercharged powerplant. We will keep you updated with any new information.
I hate to say it ,but that sure looks like a copy of the Olds W-30 hood,the SIXPACK style ,or the Dart/Demon twin snorkel would be a better choice.
