Stay Tuned for Menards NHRA Heartland Nationals Conclusion…
Thanks to a little help from Mother Nature, the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series eliminations for the 30th annual Menards NHRA Heartland Nationals have been postponed to a Manic Monday conclusion. Following an eight-hour rain delay and cooling weather late in the day on Sunday, competitors like No. 1 Funny Car qualifier and current points leader, Courtney Force will have to wait until Monday to find out if they will earn their latest Wally.
Outlaw Invasion Postponed

Like many motorsports events this weekend, the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series Outlaw Invasion at Atomic Speedway has been postponed due to inclement weather. Thanks to persistent rain throughout the weekend, Series officials and Atomic Speedway staff were forced to move this event to the fall (Sept. 28-29) of 2018. This rescheduling places this dirt racing doubleheader within the home stretch of the run of the highly anticipated 2018 championship battle.
“Thanks to the weather, we are now looking forward to a huge weekend in the fall with title implications on the line that will create an incredible atmosphere on Atomic’s high-banks,” said Series Director Matt Curl.
While this event will have to wait, champions from the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series will continue their battle at both 411 Motor and Volunteer Speedway, for a $10,000-to-win doubleheader weekend, June 1-2.
