As the summer heats up, so does the racing action at short tracks across the country. RacingJunk.com slid Behind The Wheel with a driver who is currently burning up the charts at Winston-Salem, NC’s famed ¼-mile, Bowman Gray Stadium.
While we could spend our Memorial Day weekend at any race track in the country, we at RacingJunk decided to give a few props to the hometown heroes of this sport by making a pit stop at one of the most historic short tracks in the country – Bowman Gray Stadium – for the Sportsman 100.
After a rather disappointing postponement of activities last weekend, Historic Bowman Gray Stadium, better known as The Madhouse, will kick off its 67th season of racing this Saturday night in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
