The 2026 Super Cup Stock Car Series Opening is set for April 18, 2026 at Shenandoah Speedway
The Super Cup Stock Car Series (SCSCS) kicks off this weekend, April 18, at Virginia’s Shenandoah Speedway which has hosted a slew of ‘Gen 4’ racecars over the past few years. The Super Cup Stock Car Series will feature twin 50-lap races run by mix of series vet and enthusiastic new racers. The 2026 SCSCS season features 8 events, some hosted at venues new to the series, but Shenandoah is a fan and driver favorite location for the series.

These include Petersburg, West Virginia’s 2024 champion Brent Nelson who has something to prove after last year’s loss, as well as Harvey and Brian Harrison — a father and son duo both looking for victory. They will go up against recent 2025 SCSCS champ Damian Payton who is gunning for a 2026 championship after winning a race last year.
The event is bringing in a number of other contenders for the race weekend which kicks off with an optional practice Friday from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Gates open on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., in time to watch final practice sessions. Other events include a kids’ bike race, spectator drags, and of course, the 50 lap main event scheduled to start at at 5:00 p.m.
Tickets are only $10 at the gate with kids 12 and under as well as veterans and first responders admitted for free.
