Showing off killer customs at SEMA is a Ringbrothers tradition, and after a short break last year, the duo of Mike and Jim Ring brought the big dogs back to SEMA with FOUR new builds, including the 1969 Ford Mustang in the video above.
“BULLY” 1972 K5 Blazer: The 1,200-horsepower, big-tired and purpose-built Blazer is meant to dominate on or off the road. BULLY is equipped with a supercharged Wegner Motorsports-built LS3, a triangulated four-link suspension with off-road racing coilovers and a fully custom bespoke interior. BULLY will be unveiled on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. at the HRIA booth #23295
Like most Ringbrothers builds their bread and butter is the details. They put in over 8,500 hours in bringing this “Bully” to the streets of Vegas, and the Blazer features many one-off 3D-printed and machined parts. Covering the body is a custom BASF Glasurit Waterborne mix called Bashful Blue. Its exterior features ample carbon fiber via the custom fender flares and hood, with machined billet supercharger covers. The reworked body and flares make room for massive 325/65R18 Cooper Discoverer STT PRO tires wrapped around 18×12-inch HRE wheels.
“The aptly named ‘BULLY’ is a thorough reimagining of Chevrolet’s premier off-roader, and every aspect of this build was designed to push the envelope,” said Ringbrothers co-owner Mike Ring. “We wanted to exceed current limits of what to expect in an iconic four-wheel drive while maintaining the extreme attention to detail we’re known for.”
“STRODE” 1969 Chevy Camaro: With a widened, fully carbon-clad body and extended wheelbase, the Camaro exemplifies stance and the remarkable work of digital design. Under the hood is a Wegner Motorsports-built LS3 topped with a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger producing 1,000 horsepower, while the Ghost White paint pays homage to STRODE’s origins. STRODE will be unveiled on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. at the Keystone booth #21249
“We wanted to push the limits of what we can do and showcase our capabilities with STRODE,” said Ringbrothers co-owner Mike Ring. “It is a radical rethink of the original Chevy Camaro, expanding its dimensions and levels of performance. With its one-off carbon-fiber body and thousands of hours of custom work, there has never been another Camaro like it. Of course, we must thank our partners Motul, HRE Wheels, BASF, Miller Welding, Flowmaster and others for helping to make STRODE something even Michael Myers can’t catch.”
“PATRIARC” 1969 Ford Mustang: The high-revving Mustang is built to play in the wind, minimizing rear-end drag with groundbreaking aerodynamic innovation. Power from a Ford Performance Aluminator 5.2 XS engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a fully bespoke interior makes this one unique Pony. PATRIARC will be unveiled on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 11:30 a.m. at the Centerforce booth #23813
“This year has been an amazing one for Ringbrothers with four vehicle debuts at the 2022 SEMA Show,” said Ringbrothers co-owner Mike Ring. “PATRIARC is one of them and showcases our capabilities, levels of craftsmanship and engineering when reimagining what this iconic car could become. It is modern performance, capability and comfort wrapped in a classic American exterior.”
“The Mustang Mach 1 has always been an aggressive-looking car, and we wanted to add to those classic good looks with subtle but critical changes,” added Ringbrothers co-owner Jim Ring. “Over 5,000 hours went into building PATRIAC and perfecting the aesthetics. And, like all our builds, it has the performance to match its new-found aggression. Teaming with our trusted partners BASF, Motul, Miller Welding, Painless Wiring, GFS and others helps make it all possible.”
“ENYO” 1948 Chevrolet Pickup: With the original steel cab narrowed, lengthened, chopped and wedge cut, ENYO’s body was crafted with extensive use of carbon-fiber components, including a single-piece carbon-fiber belly pan. The design incorporates cantilevered independent suspension at all four corners and is powered by a 1,000-horsepower big-block marine racing engine. It’s a ’40s work truck meets Formula 1 racer for Ringbrothers’ most extreme build yet. ENYO will be unveiled on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. at the Mothers booth #22357
