Performance Racing Industry is expanding its educational offerings with the debut of the PRI Motorsports Engineering Symposium, a new one-day program scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 10, during the 2026 PRI Show at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Designed specifically for race engineers, manufacturers, performance suppliers, consultants, and engineering students, the symposium will focus on the technical side of motorsports through discussions centered on real-world engineering challenges and performance solutions. Organizers say the program will emphasize collaboration and innovation rather than the traditional seminar format.
“At its core, motorsports is driven by engineering,” said PRI Managing Director Doug Bresnahan. “We are investing in the future of motorsports by expanding our focus on education, innovation, and workforce development.”
According to PRI officials, the symposium aims to create a dedicated space where engineers, builders, and technical innovators can share ideas, discuss emerging technologies, and explore how engineering decisions directly impact on-track performance.
The symposium will be open to all registered PRI Show attendees at no additional cost. Registration for both the PRI Show and the Motorsports Engineering Symposium is expected to open in July.
The addition of the symposium continues PRI’s efforts to grow the annual trade show beyond product displays and business networking, further establishing the event as a hub for motorsports education, technology, and industry development.
