Pinup of the Week: Kerosene Kelly

My name is Kerosene Kelly; I was born and raised in Long Beach, Calif. For my entire life, I was a tomboy. My dad and I worked on cars and motorcycles together, I played almost every sport, trained in MMA and worked in my family's Metal Fabrication shop, which my great grandfather started in 1918 (I now run it with my mom). As a child, I always admired the vintage pinups for their class and beauty. I secretly wanted to be one. Finally, I decided it was time to let go of my tomboy side just a little, and be the woman I'd always meant to be. This is when I also decided to start my own reproduction vintage clothing line. I've been sewing since I was six years old, so being a pinup model helped me realize my passion of becoming a seamstress and fashion designer. When I think of a pinup, I think back to WWII and the soldiers pinning the beautiful, classy posters of women to their bunkers. With my reproduction vintage clothing line, I hope to help every girl to keep the class, beauty and poise that the women had back then.
