Morgan Sends Out Teaser for Geneva

The Morgan Motor Company may be premiering a new sports car for the 2015 Geneva Auto Show. Some of you may be familiar with Morgan’s Aero or maybe even their 3-wheeler Roadster, but most of us have never even seen one before. Morgan is a British auto maker with a rich history dating back over 100 years. Even though Morgan had it’s biggest success in the states in past, only a handful of dealers currently import these works of art.  Even worldwide they are not as popular as other more conventional sports cars, so it’s always intriguing when Morgan decides to unveil a new model, especially at such a well regarded show such as Geneva.

Morgans are a classic example of a wolf in sheep’s clothing, their classic bulbous design has been their trademark style throughout the companies history, but if we were to look under the hood of let’s say an Aero 8, we would be looking at a 4.8L BMW V-8 from an M-series. With British design, German engineering and a Luxembourgian price tag, these vehicles are as niche as niche gets. The kind of person that drives  Morgan is someone who craves a connection with the road just as much as they prefer to go against the grain of modern automotive design and taste. Even though Morgan is not giving us much of what they are showing at Geneva,  we know that it will be a unique and refreshing take of what a sports car should be.
