Hot rod and pinup photographer Mitzi Valenzuela is known for having her finger on the pulse of both classic and rockabilly car culture. As part of that, Mitzi produces pinup contests for shows all over the world. Here she shares photos of the competitors and some super sweet rides.

Hello, I'm Lilac SaintClair! This published pinup beauty is also a multi-award winning Package Designer, Fur Baby Mama, Tiki Lover and Burlesque Performer! My biggest vintage inspiration has always been my grandmother. I love sewing, doing my own hair and makeup and always trying to improve my knowledge of all things vintage. My latest endeavor is refining my vintage hair styling techniques to get that perfect look.

I do volunteer work through Vixens for Victory and am also a House of Knyle Diamond. My favorite car is a 1939 Packard, Super 8 Phaeton; it was my grandfather’s dream car which he was never able to own for himself before he passed away. He inspired my love for classic cars and I discovered my first vintage pinup photos on his garage walls while I spent time with him as he fixed up his rides. With all of the chrome and sloping lines of this beautiful classic car, it’s also curvy, classy and rare enough for this glamour-loving pinup! Fun fact: Juan and Eva Perón favored a ’39 Packard for parade appearances and a yellow 1949 convertible model was used as Doc Brown’s car in Back to the Future.

I’m honored to have been crowned Grand National Roadster Show’s 2020 Trophy Queen and I can’t wait to see where this year takes me!
