Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, Mass. will hold their annual Fall Classic on the 7th of October. While it won’t be a national touring series event, the Fall Classic has a really cool feature that draws fans from around the region.
Sponsor a Lap in the Classic
Although registration for this feature of this year’s race is closed, attendees have the option to sponsor a lap. Individuals and companies sponsoring a lap will have the thrill of seeing their (company’s) name on the “big board” in the infield. Lap sponsors also have the option of having the Speedway remember someone special with an “In Memory of” message on the board. Lap sponsors have the choice of three sponsorship levels:
- Gold Lap Sponsor at $25
- Platinum Lap Sponsor at $50
- Elite Lap Sponsor at $100+
Every Driver Competing Benefits from Lap Sponsors
Most racing series only award prize money to those drivers in the highest finishing positions – maybe the top three, five, or ten. However, those participating in the Fall Classic, whether they finish first or last, will receive a payout. First place will award $5000, while 19th through 24th place finishers will win $375 each.
