Butner and Strutmasters Together for 2020 Pro Stock Campaign

2017 NHRA Mello Mello Pro Stock champion Bo Butner will have a different look when the 60th annual Lucas Oil Winternationals get underway the first weekend of February, 2020. Butner, from Floyds Knobs, IN has reached a sponsorship agreement with Strutmasters that will have the third-place 2019 finisher racing a Chevrolet Camaro with a sleek new look.

Butner’s car will feature branding of partners Jim Butner Auto Group, Summit Racing, Nitro Fish and Speed Dawg in addition to his new Strutmasters partnership, which includes all of the 18 Pro Stock races on next year’s calendar.

“We have such a great team, and one that I’m very proud of,” said Butner, who came out of the gate afire in 2019 and led the Pro Stock points throughout the entire regular season. “We know we have a lot to offer, and to be recognized by a great group of people like Chip Lofton and the folks at Strutmasters just means the world to us.”

The 11-time Pro Stock national event race winner, whose car is owned by Ken Black, acknowledged, “It’s definitely a confidence-builder to have such awesome partners, both old and new. We’re looking forward to putting the Strutmasters/JBA Camaro in the winner’s circle more than once next year.”

Strutmasters, founded by Lofton in 1999, is a suspension manufacturer that specializes in air-to-non-air suspension conversion kits. The company is known for its ability to fix complex air, magnetic, electronic and hydraulic suspension systems. According to Lofton, what began as a personal project to repair a family’s only vehicle has grown into a nationwide provider of suspension solutions.
