[Video]Dennis Bailey Walks Away from Dramatic Twin City Crash; Kye Kelley Clinches Victory

Experiencing a heart-stopping incident during the No-Prep Invasion event at Twin City Raceway, veteran small-tire outlaw racer Dennis Bailey emerged unscathed from a wild crash in his ProCharger-boosted “Silverback Gorilla” Camaro. Featured on the Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws Memphis reality show and various spinoff series, Bailey’s solo run took a dramatic turn near the finish line, as captured in a video taken by drag race photographer Ticklefitz, showcasing the car’s loss of control, a gravity-defying spin, and a violent end-over-end flip before settling upside down in the shutdown area. Despite the significant damage, including a partially torn roof and folded body panels, Bailey remained resolute, declaring, “We had a little accident this evening. The car is torn up pretty bad, but we’ll be back. We’re racers, we’re hardcore.”

In the aftermath, Kye Kelley, a prominent figure in the Street Outlaws franchise and a member of the rival Street Outlaws New Orleans camp, claimed victory at the event. Kelley secured the win on Saturday evening, triumphing over Brent Self, who faced challenges on the tricky Twin City surface, resulting in his Camaro losing control and colliding with the retaining wall in the finale
