No Prep events can be treacherous. Mississippi racer Kerry Stribling found that out while racing at the Hardingsburg, Kentucky 1/8-mile when he lost control of his supercharged big-tire Dodge Daytona on a single run. Stribling tried valiantly to save the car but it was soon out of his hands. Luckily Stribling walked away with no injuries, a reminder of why we stress safety so many times in this sport..
