[Video] 2020 JL Editions Explained

The latest editions of the JL have been released and this video breaks down what’s new and improved.

The 3.0L turbo diesel V6 that we have been waiting for making 260HP and 422 foot lbs of torque. Some of the drivetrain options offered in the 20 line up will only be offered in some trims, but you can rest assured that the 3.0L turbo-diesel will be offered in the Sport, Sahara, as well as the Rubicon. However, they will exclusively have the 8-speed automatic transmission and so will the 2.0L. The only motor that will offer either a 6-speed manual trans or the optional 8-speed automatic transmission will be OG V6. We also got a taste of the mild-hybrid eTorque system in the 2.0L that uses a 48-volt belt starter generator to improve fuel economy, however, in the newest lineup we get to see those benefits in the Pentastar V6 but only on the Sahara trim.
