The Leake Auction Company has received on consignment the 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle featured from the fourth installment of the Fast and The Furious franchise. The Chevelle along with several other vehicles, will be on the auction block April 17-19 at the Dallas Market Hall in Texas. In the movie the Chevelle was driven by none other than American muscle head Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel. The car was purchased by the studio as a stunt car, however, in the movie it was a different Chevelle that was actually used for the stunt jumps.

Frank Collins of Cinema Vehicles, sold the car to Jeff Allen who in turn consigned the Chevelle to the Dallas auction. The winner of the auction will receive a letter of authenticity as well as a six-disc DVD set of The Fast and the Furious films. The Leake Auction Company is very familiar with the F&F franchise having sold six of the fourteen cars from the movies that Jeff Allen has owned.   “Furious 7 is the most anticipated movie release of 2015,” stated Richard Sevenoaks, president of Leake Auction Company. “The Fast and the Furious series has an enormous following that is very loyal. With Furious 7 being the conclusion of the saga, this is an excellent car to add to a collection.

With “Furious 7” now already reaching $1 billion dollars in international ticket sales, it’s hard to imagine this car not having a ton of attention when it crosses the block. So whether you are a big fan of the F&F franchise or you are purchasing this as an investment, now is your chance to wheelie like Dom does.

The doors to Dallas Market Hall will open at 9 a.m. during the auction, and admission is $20 for adults, $15 for military and senior with ID, and $7 for children under 12 years of age. For a complete list of vehicles consigned to this auction, visit the Leake Auction Company website.
