Speed Promotions Racing has officially shut down the rest of its 2025 season, including the highly anticipated $100,000 Small Tire Shootout at Galot Motorsports Park.

The announcement caught racers and fans off guard, as all remaining U.S. events and the Canadian leg were canceled without explanation. BoostedGT on posted on social media, “There are a multitude of reasons why this happened, some internal, some external. However, for those who wanted it to fail, here’s your day to shine. Ya’ll won!” While the series has gone quiet, independent promoters are stepping in—HelluvaChevy, for example, will host a non-points event at Rad Torque Raceway to keep the action alive.

With the future of Speed Promotions uncertain, fans now wait to see if the series will regroup for 2026 or fade from the no-prep racing landscape.
