SOLD! on RacingJunk: 1967 Chevy Nova Drag Car

When we decided to bring back the  “SOLD! on RacingJunk” feature, we quickly remembered how much fun it was to imagine the adventures of some of these vehicles, parts, trailers, and engines.  And this 1967 Chevy Nova drag car is no exception.  It was clearly converted into a drag car from the original muscle machine — whether that was piecemeal or all at once, who can say?

Initially pitched on the site as an all steel car (except for the hood and trunk), it featured a 750 cage, bolt on front suspension, Strange Engineering front, BBD 572 Lunati crankshaft, Pro 1 heads profiler and more.  That more also said “No Title, only VIN.” We picture a long, storied life at the track for this bad boy as it grew into a straightline machine and we hope the new owner is having a blast with it.

RacingJunk’s Hot Rod/Street Rod  category is a great place to find custom builds that pack a power punch. Check it out (along with a slew of contemporaneous builds) here: https://www.racingjunk.com/category/4240/1960-1979.html
