SEMA Day 2: Gold Awards, Battle of the Builders, and Cool Customs

Day 2 of SEMA focused on looking ahead to the new year and celebrating builds at the show. Goodguys announced their Gold Award winners, SEMA narrowed down the Battle of the Builders finalists to 12, the NSRA unveiled their 2019 giveaway vehicle to celebrate their 50th anniversary, and new products were celebrated.
Goodguys presents the Gold Awards to five vehicles which represent beauty, style and innovation and the competition is fierce. SEMA is filled with astonishing custom rides, but Goodguys are looking for elevation of the classics and this year's choices were no exception. Congrats to:
Roadster Shop – 1970 Camaro “Road Rage”
Frank Howard – 1956 Pontiac Star Chief – Customs by Kilkeary
Jimmy Shaw – 1971 Maverick – Greening Auto Company
Joseph White – 1968 Chevy C10 – Creative Rod & Kustom
Matt Caruso – 1970 Charger “Evolution” – SpeedKore Performance Group
The NSRA is celebrating 50 years of Street Rod enthusiasm by giving away a 1971 Chevy Nova at the 2019 Street Rod Nationals in Lousiville, KY.
Congrats as well to the Battle of the Builders finalists.
