Click Here to Begin Slideshow Ringbrothers, the globally renowned custom car builder and parts manufacturer, unveiled their latest creation, "PARAMOUNT," a 1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II, at the 2023 SEMA Show. PARAMOUNT represents Ringbrothers' hallmark quality and craftsmanship, defying expectations in terms of both aesthetics and driving performance for one of the world's most celebrated luxury brands. Every aspect of PARAMOUNT has been meticulously designed to showcase its impeccable design and performance capabilities. The original bodywork was preserved and painstakingly restored, with every minor imperfection expertly corrected before the application of BASF Glasurit's "White as Fluff" finish. Except for custom badges and subtle enhancements, the mostly stock exterior conceals the complete transformation of this luxury icon. Jim Ring, co-owner of Ringbrothers, explained, "Unlike many of our builds, we chose to retain the original bodywork and lines of the Rolls, so at first glance, there are only hints to what lies beneath. That all changes when the door opens to reveal the completely custom interior, or a press of the gas pedal unleashes a distinct supercharger whine. This truly is the ultimate luxury sleeper." Beneath the signature Rolls-Royce Pantheon grille, the 6.2-liter LT4 engine delivers an impressive 640 horsepower and 635 ft-lbs of torque to the rear wheels through a Bowler Tru-Street 10-speed automatic transmission and custom QA1 carbon-fiber driveshaft. The drivetrain is mounted on a custom Roadster Shop chassis, featuring Ringbrothers-fabricated two-piece clamshell control arms and custom 10-gauge steel boxed frame rails. Ride comfort and handling are provided by a Roadster Shop RideLine front suspension and Fast Link parallel four-bar rear suspension, equipped with Fox RS SV coilovers at all four corners. Custom EVOD Industries 18x7-inch front and 18x8-inch rear wheels are wrapped in Falken Azenis tires, paying homage to the original Rolls-Royce wheels with gyro wheel center caps to keep the logo upright. The luxurious custom interior exemplifies an uncompromising attention to detail. The dashboard is adorned with intricately machined billet switchgear, while the instrumentation offers a blend of old-world charm and new-world metrics and infotainment. Custom-built floor pans enhance interior space and comfort for both driver and passenger, and the interior divider has been removed. A starlight headliner creates an otherworldly ambiance inside, with over 1,000 LED lights meticulously sewn into the headliner to form a constellation, softly illuminating the cabin in a cool hue, allowing passengers to enjoy the signature Rolls-Royce "picnic tables" with their preferred refreshments or condiments. Mike Ring, co-owner of Ringbrothers, commented, "Every aspect of this build is overflowing with detail and character. The exterior maintains the allure of traditional British luxury, while the engine, chassis, and interior embrace modern luxury sedan features. This project seamlessly combines Rolls-Royce's rich history with a 640-horsepower American twist. We invested over 3,400 hours in fabricating, painting, and engineering this project, and we're thankful to our partners for collaborating with us to advance our craft and explore a whole new realm of art." As industry leaders, Mike and Jim Ring were pioneers in utilizing innovative design and technology in each of their creations. Ringbrothers were early adopters of altering classic muscle car lines, wide-body builds, incorporating unconventional industrial materials for interior designs, integrating CAD into the design process, and 3D printing parts. The brothers also held the distinction of being the first to produce custom billet parts in-house. Click Here to Begin Slideshow
