The racing industry’s biggest show, PRI 2016, started off with a bang on Thursday, December 8 at the Indianapolis Convention Center. Winter has definitely hit Indianapolis, but that’s not stopping industry fans and enthusiasts from hitting the convention center to learn what new tips, tricks, tech and technique will help them go faster, make more money, secure sponsorship, or just thrive as drivers, owners, and engineers.

At the RacingJunk.com booth, #2143, the traditional t-shirt giveaway was in full swing as folks stopped by to get this year’s shirt, and a simultaneous chance to win $100 cash twice a day when the calendar models choose someone in an RJ shirt.  In addition, this year, the booth is hosting the Uncatchable Rat Rod, Aaron Brown and The Garage Shop’s land speed racer which is setting records and drawing crowds.

RacingJunk.com also sponsored a seminar for track owners, “How to Market Your Track Like a Pro” featuring Tulsa Raceway owners Keith Haney and Todd Martin, along with track GM Don Ellison, sharing marketing tips and tricks with a packed room.

The show is becoming a place for team announcements, new partnerships and new technology with Elite Motorsports announcing the return to Chevrolet, Aeromotive Industries announcing a new partnership with Waterman Racing Components, the NHRA announcing an expanded Pro Stock series next season, and Classic Industries, formerly known for their individually crafted hot rod gauges, formally announcing their foray into performance and racing gauges, amongst other exciting product and partnerships happening through the convention.

And that’s all just on Thursday!
