This week’s Pinup Pole Show Pinup of the Week is fashion CEO Francesca Esker. Here you see the owner of Lexico Fashion posing with Billy Morocco’s 1963 Ford Falcon convertible, photographed dramatically by Shane Karns at Tonya Kay’s Pinup Pole Show. Let’s find out more about Francesa’s modeling career:
TONYA KAY: How long have you been modeling and where did it start/what has it evolved into?
FRANCESCA: I started to model in the classic car culture with my very first pinup modeling competition. I started to explore the car culture scene when I admired beauties like Dita Von Teese, Rockwell Devil and Tamera Von Tart. Yes - I had the moments of… I need to be like these women! I turned to a lot of self-care where I lost weight from 245 lbs to 165. I found my empowerment in fitness training and recovering from violence in my past relationships.
What can I say about where it evolved? I’ve been on red carpets from BET, VH1, LAFW, Style and featured in British Vogue. I have been iconically spotted in my vintage glam at hip-hop events where I have found true supporters. But I still love my original roots. Now I’m a modernized pinup upholding the vintage legacy wherever I find myself.
TONYA KAY: If you could make a change to the modeling industry, what would it be?
FRANCESCA: Repeat after me: A size 8-12 in women is not plus size! I don’t mind labels, but when I was told I’m plus size over and over and then rejected from runways that were plus-size, I had to keep announcing I’m not a plus size model. Plus size is over a size 18! Type-casting bodies isn’t fashionable. True beauty and glamour is rare to find in this industry especially when it’s from the heart. Cast beauty - not body size.

Tonya, Don’t stop Love it.
Thanks, Bob! I hope you’re well.
WOW isn’t she pretty
We agree!
I’m an old guy who adores women! Bikini and lingerie Pin-Ups are gorgeous but there is something just mind blowing about a woman dressed up classy with high heels on!!! Francesca is absolutely stunning!!! Thank you very much for sharing.
Dave, she is all class. How young are you? It’s fun for me to know my readers a little. And I agree – I like bikinis but you cant go wrong with a beautiful dress or elegant jumper.
Yes yes yes to a woman in a beautiful dress!!! I’m 55 Tonya and a retired USAF Veteran. I have been a Pin-Up fan for pretty much my whole life! Again, I thank you and the ladies who love being Pin-Ups out there in the world! You girls make my days brighter!
You’re not an old guy! 55 years young and I’m glad to meet you, Dave. Keep in touch.
Cute girl and nice car, perfect combination for car guys!
Keep doing that Tonya!
Right on, Serge! I’ve produced a LOT of model and car work and it gives me joy to know you appreciate it!
