Hot rod and pinup photographer Mitzi Valenzuela is known for having her finger on the pulse of both classic and rockabilly car culture. As part of that, Mitzi produces Pinup Contests for shows all over the world. Here she shares photos of the competitors and some super sweet rides.
"I am so humbled and over the moon about being crowned Miss Bo Huff
2018. This car show has continued to maintain its annual gathering of
amazing classic cars and car clubs since the passing of the amazing
man who created it. The Bo Huff show was one of the first car shows I
ever went to, about five years ago; I didn't know anyone, but I wanted to
become familiar with pin-up contests so I could get involved. Now here
I am years later, being crowned Miss Bo Huff 2018, and I am beyond
delighted!
"I have entered many Pinup contests, and each one has been a
stepping stone to the point where I have fine tuned every detail of my
outfit, hair and accessories. Getting up on stage with a microphone is
always a little scary, but then when you look out into the crowd and
see the faces of people you know and love, the fear melts away. I love
my car show family - thank you for all the support and encouragement
through out the years. See you at the next one! Love, Rebel Rose."
