This week, Mitzi's Motor Maven Brettie Page. Readers have seen beautiful Brettie here before, but this week she brings us a stunning collaboration with one of the industries premier pinstripers, Shaun Hartman.

"The time spent after car shows often mean inspiration, creative collaborations, and lasting friendships. The night after Grand National Roadster meant just that. When I model I draw a lot of inspiration from the 1940’s. A fun fact about the 1940’s is women donated their stockings and drew the back seams down the back of their legs with makeup. I’ve always wanted to pay homage to that resourcefulness and celebrate the creativity of car culture at the same time, by doing a shoot while having my legs pinstriped.

After a few ciders I worked up the courage to tell Mitzi my idea, and to my surprise and delight, she was immediately in. Shaun Hartman of Kustom Pinstriping immediately offered to do the Pinstriping and Mitzi suggested putting a bad girl spin on the wardrobe, and shooting it at Viva Las Vegas. Even though Mitzi, Shaun, and I were booked almost solid we found a few minutes at golden hour and it all came together. In spite of strong winds, high heels, and uneven pavement, I held more still than I’ve ever been in my entire life. Shaun striped my calves with the world’s steadiest hands while Mitzi shot it all under a windswept Las Vegas sunset. These are the images we created in front of Shaun’s own gorgeous Cadi.

Shaun used REAL Pinstriping paint, not makeup, and let me tell you, his work is not only beautiful but DURABLE. I proudly wore his art on my legs for the better part of a week and everyone thought they were tattoos.

I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with two artists I respect so deeply. I feel truly fortunate that they helped me not only realize my idea for the shoot, but improved upon my artistic vision.
