Stepping onto the Bonneville Salt Flats for the first time was like cruising into gearhead heaven. As a pinup model tagging along with the legendary Mitzi & Co., I had a front-row seat to the world where speed dreams hit overdrive. The salt beneath my feet was more than just a racing surface; it was a sacred ground, kissed by the rubber of history-making hot rods and land-speed legends.
From the moment I arrived, the salt flat community embraced me like a long-lost member of the family.
Witnessing these daredevils push their machines to the limit was like witnessing poetry in motion—fuel-fed, nitro-breathing poetry.
The nights at Carmen’s Black and White bar were the perfect throttle-down to the adrenaline-packed days. Cold beers, warm smiles, and tales of top-speed triumphs that could turn any novice into a seasoned salt veteran by the end of the night.
