Click Here to Begin Slideshow Lillie VonnTorque is a Buffalo, New York native currently calling central Wisconsin her home. Her grandfather was a gear head, who enjoyed taking her to auto races in NY and even let her hang out by the hydroplanes at Thunder on the Niagara. Her father was a welder in the Marines. Lillie followed in both their footsteps, learning to weld in college and picking up some auto body repair skills along the way. She is most proud of being a member of a team that restored a 1954 Dodge Military vehicle in honor of her boyfriend’s grandfather’s WWII service. In her daily job, Lillie specializes in the support and education of elementary-age students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She is obsessive about Willy's vehicles and especially loves the beauty and lines of most 1940's era cars. Lillie is a member of the Katfish Kittens, an all-girls car club with origins in the twin cities with members in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Lillie has been a titled and published model for several years but her love of the car community extends to the car events and people that she believes make the car community some of the best people in the World. The vehicle Lillie is posing with is owned by her boyfriend, John Allen. The truck, “Leia” is a 1979 Ford F-250 Camper Special John purchased to haul their vintage 1967 Friendship Vacationaire camper with and is a family favorite. Even Lillie’s college-age daughter, Joia, jumps at a chance to drive Leia, named in honor of Princess Leia, a 70s icon who played one of Lillie’s favorite actresses, Carrie Fischer. The truck was shot on location at the incredible Greg’s Speed Shop, owned by Greg and Leah Stelse, and Lillie was fortunate to get to pose with some of the equipment the legendary Gene Winfield used while putting on workshops at Greg’s. The RedWing boots Lillie is wearing in the shoot just happen to be her daily welding boots. Click Here to Begin Slideshow
