"I am a northern California girl. I like being outside in the fresh air and sunshine. I enjoy big events and car shows and pin-up contests and the diverse community that comes along with it. I have really grown to love the camaraderie and support the pin-up culture shares with anyone who wants to be a part of it.
"My husband, Scott, and I run our business "American Pomade Company" in Northern California. American Pomade was established in 2010. It was Scott who produced American Pomade hair grease. After countless hours of trial and error and many, many cans of pomade, he did it. We shared it with some friends and they kept coming back for more. So he promoted it to become what it is today.
"It has been exciting to see its growth. We have continued to introduce more products, and design and share more merchandise and then…American Pomade Girl. That is where I put a lot of love. Pin-up models have been using our Original American Pomade and I wanted them to have their own line. It continues to grow and with it I have connected to so many amazing and talented, strong and beautiful people. I truly feel blessed with fabulous American Pomade “family”.
"That is what inspired me to get in front of the camera…all of you! The pin-up models from all over the world, you, the incredible photographers, the absolutely awesome make-up and hair artists, and the American Pomade Girls. I never planned on stepping in front of the lens and now, I might love it. It is fun and I get to be me and feel goofy or radiant or sexy! Much to learn but I think I will give it a few more

"As for American Pomade Girl and American Pomade Company, we are going to keep moving forward, offering quality products while staying true to who we are and designing cool, cute, and fun merchandise. Hoping to attend a lot more events and continue to support and give back where we can."

This week's Mitzi's Motor Maven, Angela Hope, is both owner and face of her company, American Pomade, that she runs with her husband.
