Attention racing enthusiasts! The Bonneville Nationals, Inc. is thrilled to host the 76th Annual SpeedWeek, the largest event of the season at the legendary Bonneville Salt Flats.
Sanctioned by the Southern California Timing Association (SCTA), SpeedWeek 2024 promises thrilling action and remarkable feats of speed. This year’s event will feature two meticulously groomed courses, thanks to excellent salt conditions. With over 200 vehicle entries, SpeedWeek is drawing participants from around the world. Teams from seven countries—Australia, Canada, France, Japan, New Zealand, Belgium, and the United Kingdom—are already pre-registered, alongside hundreds of competitors from across the United States.
A Diverse Range of Vehicles
The variety of entries is astonishing, ranging from four-wheeled streamliners with the potential to exceed 500 mph to vintage 50cc motorcycles that aim to hit 50 mph. Each vehicle is a testament to the universal hot rod spirit, with teams striving to establish an official SCTA Bonneville record in one of the numerous classes available.
Event Details
SpeedWeek 2024 is conveniently located on the Bonneville Salt Flats, just a two-hour drive from Salt Lake City and a mere 15 minutes from Wendover, Utah, via the I-80 national highway. Access to the event is easy from the Bonneville Speedway exit, with on-site entry available. Day passes are priced at $25, while week-long passes are a great deal at just $60.
Spectator and Racer Support
Spectators, racers, and their crews will find a variety of vendors offering food, drinks, racing safety equipment, sunglasses, and more. The SCTA-BNI will also be selling exclusive merchandise and souvenirs at the event and online on their website.
