The 74th edition is open to all roadsters, roadster pick-ups, and touring vehicles built in the United States in 1937 or earlier. This includes designer roadsters that bear a resemblance to a 1937 or older model. The special category, "America's Most Beautiful Roadster," features awards for display, engineering, undercarriage, paint, engine, interior, and detail. The victorious participant receives the honor of having their name engraved on the perpetual 9-foot-tall trophy, along with a $12,500 cash prize package and the prestigious title.
