If you have been a follower of our Behind the Wheel podcast, you know we enjoy telling inspirational stories of those involved in this sport who don’t let anything stop them from achieving their lifelong dreams. While some may wait their whole lives to accomplish what some may deem a near impossible feat, there are others who rise to the top at the prime of their youth – people like Krista Baldwin.
This NHRA Top Alcohol drag driver, granddaughter of drag racing pioneer Chris “the Greek” Karamesines and daughter of late Top Fuel veteran Bobby Baldwin, began competing after receiving her A/Fuel dragster license in 2015 and since then has been climbing the proverbial drag racing ladder. Along with becoming a skilled young driver, this 25-year-old queen of speed has also become an inspiration to other young drivers through her participation in Nitro University, and will even become the newest A/Fuel dragster team owner in 2019.
