Barrett-Jackson’s 2015 Scottsdale Auction

The 2015 Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ put some unforgettable vehicles on the block this past weekend. Below are a few that stuck with us, making us glad that our wallets were on the other side of the room!

1950 General Motors Futurliner: $4,000,000
This was the Parade of Progress Tour Bus from the Ron Pratte Collection. With 100% of the proceeds going to the Armed Forces Foundation, this auction was the biggest and most memorable of the night for more ways than one.

1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake: $5,115,000
This Super Snake edition Shelby 427 Cobra was from Carol Shelby’s personal collection. Enthusiasts revere this as the single most valuable 427 Cobra in existence.

1966 Bonneville Special Motorama Concept Car: $3,300,00
This Bonneville was one of the featured cars for the General Motors Motorama Show. Harley Earl, the styling director for GM, was inspired by the race cars of Bonneville and toured this masterpiece around dealerships back in 1954.
