Torq-Masters Industries usually known for specializing in Locking Differentials announced they will be manufacturing face-shields to combat COVID-19. Torque-Masters, based in Rochester, NY, a Woman-owned company, decided to pivot their workforce after automotive parts sales have slowed due to the virus.
“After trying multiple designs, a dozen foam samples, tons of research, and securing materials in the quantities we need (which was the hardest part), We are excited to announce that we are assembling 1,000 face shields this week to send out to purchasing agents as free samples. We have the capacity to assemble 10,000 face shields a week. We can also ship face shield kits for furloughed hospital employees to assemble.”
