Drag Illustrated Magazine’s World Series of Pro Mod has already become an epic event with drivers from across sanctioning bodies, states and, if Wes Buck has his way, countries, crossing borders to come compete for the $100,000 prize. 40 drivers will be  invited to compete in the event at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Florida March 3 – 5, 2023, marking the fourth World Series showdown.  The race will be an 1/8th mile, outlaw showdown and the rivalries will be fierce, with 32 drivers ultimately competing.

Buck pulled together a panel at the 2022 PRI Show to talk about Pro Mod, the World Series event, and the joy of racing, including PDRA owner Tommy Franklin, drivers Melanie Salemi and Lyle Barnett, and Bradenton track owner Victor Alvarez.

Buck spoke with RacingJunk after the press conference about this passion project and what fans have to look forward to.
