This family-owned Pontiac Tempest has been with the same owner for nearly 20 years and built to haul. The professionally built 455ci Pontiac V8, stroked to 472ci with Eagle crank and H-beam rods, makes serious power—with 80psi cold oil pressure and zero leaks. It’s topped with Edelbrock aluminum heads, a 950 Holley HP carb, high-rise intake, and a 150-shot nitrous kit.
Backing it up is a Turbo 400 with reverse valve body, 3500-stall, and a Strange 4.10 spool rear end. Aerospace brakes, line lock, fiberglass panels, and Flowmaster exhaust round it out. Runs low 10s at 131 mph. Includes street parts and a dash signed by Arnie Beswick.
