The Texas Motorplex today announced drag racing Hall of Famer Darrell Gwynn, three-time Top Fuel world champion Antron Brown and long-time NHRA volunteer have been named Texas Motorplex Legends in advance of the 2023 NHRA Texas Fall Nationals at the Stampede of Speed.
For drag racer Don Prudhomme and photographer Richard Shute, the word ‘legend’ usually comes pretty close to their names in a sentence.
The museum will host its annual Bruce Meyer’s All-American Cruise-In, one of the biggest hot rod gatherings in Southern California, with special programming celebrating the godfather of hot rodding, Ed “Isky” Iskenderian’s, 100th birthday.
