The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) and its Camping World Drag Racing Series’ professional tour has two anomalies on the annual schedule and both are four-wide races.
NHRA drag racing is unlike anything Tony Stewart has ever done. After meeting NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series Top Fuel 10-race winner Leah Pruett and, eventually, dating and marrying the driver last year, Tony Stewart has found himself fully immersed in straight-line racing.
John Force Racing heads back to the drag strip with a full contingent of racers and some super star crew chiefs.
There will be many changes in the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series nitro pits next year.
“Dorothy we are in Kansas and there is no better place to be” is sure to be what the whole John Force Racing family was thinking following Sunday’s final elimination round at the Menards NHRA Nationals presented by PetArmor at Heartland Motorsports Park.
Believe it – 2020 was a year John Force would like to put in his rearview mirror.
After sitting out NHRA’s Return to Racing and its final nine contests of the protracted 2020 season, the 21-time championship-winning nitro-powered mega-team is ready to race again, with a three car entry for John Force, Robert Hight and Brittany Force.
Initially shown at last December’s PRI show in Indianapolis, a one-of-a-kind John Force 2020 COPO Camaro will be auctioned at this week’s 49th Barrett Jackson Scottsdale Auction.
The fight for NHRA’s Countdown to the Championship Funny Car title will, as is customary, go down to the final race of the year.
