Mathieu Boonen - 2007 Ford Rspec Typhoon
2007 Ford Performance Vehicles (from Australia ) Rspec Typhoon.
I have owned this vehicle since new.
What makes it cool is that it is the only Manual standard transmission Rspec that Ford imported into New zealand
although 9 other Automatics
I have modified the external engine accessories including the turbo injectors intercooler exhaust fuel pump to the engine and tuned it so now it has 500 horsepower at the wheels. It is a colour called Conquer Blue Metallic, which was not a factory colour choice for the Rspec models.
It has about 33000 miles 55000 km on the clock all driven by myself in the last almost 14 years that I have owned it (from new).
It rides on 20x10 rear wheels wearing 285/25/20 tyres and 20x8.5 on the front wearing 245/35/20 tyres.
The exhaust is an xforce stainless 3.5” full system off a 4.5” down pipe from the factory Garret 3582r 1.04 ex side and 0.5 compressor side turbo.
The turbo has been vsr balanced at 130,000 rpm
and had a 14psi spring with a 36 mm wastegate mod fitted. I have done all the mods myself except for the final dyno check and tune.

David Hernandez - Chicago,IL - 1929 Ford B-Class Street Roadster
283 Short block bored and stroked to 316 cubic inches
Manual Transmission
A 1929 B-Class Street Roadster, with a little '31 thrown in for good measure, kitted out for a successful run at the drag strips of Illinois and Missouri in the '50s and '60s. She was run by the Huey boys (of Huey Lumber, Arenzville Illinois) for several years, then retired to a storage building, where it spent the next fifty-odd years. All of the current paint, Dutching and door graphics are original to it's race era. Even the original full moon racing discs were still in the trunk. We did hose the dust off, but otherwise left the original details as is, as much as reasonably possible. The paint, the roll bar, the upholstery, and much of the running gear are rare examples of original patina. None of that faux-patina crap here; this is genuine wear and tear, that only comes from age. Ample power comes from a vintage 316 gasser.
