You’re gonna love this week’s Pinup Pole Show Pinup of the Week, greasers! Introducing pinup Tiffany Rose MocklerTiffany Rose Mockler wearing Retro Riviera fashion and a NiCoCo Creations hair piece, posing with Hugo Guardado’s 1957 Ford Fairlane, shot by Ryan Enos Creative at Pinup Pole Show! As gorgeous as all the elements of this shoot are, I really have to focus on that Fairlane this week!
This stunning blue ’57 Ford Fairlane belongs to Hugo Guardado from Panorama City, CA. Most of the work on this car was done by the previous owner, his cousin Leo Vazquez, but good friend Fabian Sanchez helps “keep it on the road today,” says Hugo.
Hugo owes his enthusiasm for classics and customs to his cousins, Omar and Leo, who got him into lowriders and kustom cars at just age 10. Hot Wheels played a big part in his wish to have his own classic kustom car as well. Little toys for little boys/big toys for big boys!
Hug’s first car was a 1982 Chrysler Fifth Avenue which his friend called The Boat and The Ice Box. Today, Hugo has been a member of Duke’s Car Club for three years and is VP of Duke’s Hollywood Kustom Chapter. The Dukes like to attend car events like The Take Over Car Show (Love 4 The Streets), Dia De Los Mertos Festival and Car Show (City of Canoga Park), The Bombs Magazine Car Show (Class & Kustom Bombs Magazine) and the Van Nuys Blvd, Hollywood Blvd and Whittier Blvd cruise nights. Southern California has a truly magnificent classic and custom car scene, of which Hugo appreciates the wide range of cultures and the easy weather. “Plus,” Huga says, “It’s the way the cars look - you can’t beat that SoCal style.”
The Dukes host their own events, too, like the Veterans Suicide Awareness Fundraiser “End The Daily 22,” holiday toy and food drives by numerous national chapters. Duke’s Hollywood has just hosted their first chapter event in celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Rise Above Tattoo Shop in Pomona, CA, owned by a chapter member.
