Ruby Augusta is a professor, a fan of old Hollywood and a true southern belle.

The things that make my heart sing are live music, vintage cars, fashion, being outdoors on a trail or a paddle board, friends and family. The world of pin up is a perfect combination of all these and makes my heart happy!

Ruby Augusta was my stunning Scottish grandmother's name and she was a beacon of love and light for me; it is my hope to represent her namesake proudly! I am a southern lady who was born in Tennessee, raised in Georgia, and lives right on the South Carolina/North Carolina border.

A college bestie inspired me to begin pinup at the age of 50; I owe this amazing chapter of my life to The Dizzy Gypsy pinup. I have always leaned toward old Hollywood styles and 50's inspirations, and am truly in awe of Veronica Lake, Jayne Mansfield, and Marilyn Monroe. I have been in the pin up world for 2 years...I am so hooked and so loving it! I am a college professor and English teacher during the day and get to work from home, allowing me time to do all the things I love.
