The Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show returned for its 31st year to the Pacifico Yokohama on December 2nd. This one day event brings together one of the largest gatherings in the custom culture. With over 20,000 spectators in attendance it has become one of the most highly anticipated shows of the year. Each year a select number of International guests are invited to the show. This year's special guest included Brian Omatsu's 1951 Mercury “Purple Reign” finished and painted by Kraftsman Autoworks. This year also included 8 Guest Motorcycles from the USA, with BMW Motored, Harley-Davidson, Indian Motorcycle, and Royal Enfield as HERO SPONSOR'S MOTORCYCLES for the RIDE-IN. The venue is packed with a variety of vendors selling some of the coolest products and wares. A number of limited edition items are offered only at the show every year so spectators arrive early to line up for these exclusive items. The main stage offered a great selection of entertainment this year including the return of the Miss Pinup Japan Contest organized by me and my co host Kasumi Psycho. Be sure to mark your calendars for the upcoming Mooneyes New Year's Party Car Show and Drag at Irwindale Speedway on Saturday January 27th For more info visit www.mooneyes.com
