With the Mooneyes New Year's Car Show and Drag happening this weekend in Irwindale I thought I would dig through the archives again and bring back some of my past shoots at the Mooneyes facilities in Santa Fe Springs, CA. My first shoot at their shop was in 2011 for my 2012 Calendar with pinup Erica Vaughn. I am so fortunate to have access to so many great historical hot rod locations here. I have been hosting the Miss Mooneyes Pinup Contest for over 10 years here in Southern California and the last two years in Japan. I have photographed many of the past pinup winners at the Mooneyes shop including Dee Dee Cupcake and Millie Rose Mitchell. The shop has been around since 1956 and is always worth a visit if you in town. Other shoots at the shop included a cover shoot with Erin Miclow for Pinups and Hot Rods Magazine, a Steady Calendar shoot with Josephine Jean and a shoot with top pinup model Masuimi Max.
